CAMBODIA

I was filming in Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia for over 10 months in last three years.

I visited many amazing places but I fell in love with Cambodia. Her dark story, incredibly gripping atmosphere of the biggest religious complex in the world called Angkor Wat and personal life of local people.

Every time when I left the airport in Phnom Penh my body was frozen for while and I was thinking like: Wow I am leaving this astonishing place! But there is also dark side of this country. The heart of southeast Asia faces the problem of the waste, extensive poverty and corruption which goes across all social layers. I spent almost 4 months in Cambodia. It was enough time to meet real life local people who live in cities and countrysides where usual tourists won’t go. Right there I met the open hearted local people, their hospitality and smile on their face is something that is hard to find in western world. It was a massive life experience and great inspiration for my filming skills to spend time in this beautiful country.
