Back in March I had the opportunity to spend 10 days out in Raja Ampat filming a destination video for @aliikai_voyage. We lived on this incredible 40m long wooden boat and sail through some of the most breathtaking spots: Waisai, Piaynemo, Arborek and Pasir Timbulgot.

This was probably the best adventure work trip I've ever done.

Back in November French Tv @50inside contacted me asking if I’d like to be part of their cruise expedition to Sulawesi. At the first moment, I thought they were just looking for someone who document this 7-days boat trip, however, a few minutes later I was asking to be at the front of the camera. Uff, why not... 2 days later I was on my way to Gorontalo, Sulawesi!

This is just short cut from the whole documentary movie where I had a chance to meet the Bajau people of Togeans and their way of life. The Bajau are traditionally nomadic and seafaring and survive by collecting shellfish from the seafloor. Scientists studying the effect of this lifestyle on their biology found their spleens were larger than those of related people from the region.
The bigger spleen makes more oxygen available in their blood for diving. It's unbelievable how long they can last in the water. If you haven't watched the documentary Jago yet, check it on Netflix!

Here’s my very first fpv walking tour project for @villa_venividivici_ubud we did at the end of the last year. The main idea was to show all villa facilities in one single FPV shot. Unfortunately, due to a strong wind, we had to improvise and split one shot into 3 different scenes. Although the villa has over 625m2 area we were very close the made it happen.

A real challenge was directing 21 talents, making sure they followed the right timing with the fpv, and keeping them safe.

All sounds effects were recorded during the shoot using Zoom Recorder H4N Pro. Check out more clips to see behind the scenes.👉🎥

The final output is far from the brief we had but overall I’m happy with the result. Special thanks to @villa_venividivici_ubud for believing in my vision. Massive shoot out to @zee_filmmaker for his efforts and trying to bring my vision alive.
